An Extremely Large Announcement

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our biggest and most performant generation model to date, aptly named Extremely Large (...sorry, we’re better developers than copywriters). As an early Cohere user, we’d love to have you join us as a beta tester for this model. On your side, you can expect to see Extremely Large evolve dramatically in performance over the coming weeks.

Model Comparison

Despite its Beta status, Cohere’s Extremely Large model outperforms our existing largest model, Large, on a ton of different tasks like sentiment analysis, named entity recognition (NER), and common sense reasoning, as measured by our internal task-based benchmarks.
